The Dugdemona SWCD is proud to announce that two of our District Conservation Poster Contest winners went on to win at the state level. Dominik Anderson and Shanna Cooper won 1st Place in their divisions and will advance to compete in the National Poster Contest in New Orleans, Louisiana in February of 2009. Congratulations, Dominik and Shanna, we are extremely proud of you. We sincerely hope that Louisiana will have not one but two National Poster Contest winners as Louisiana hosts the National Association of Conservation Districts Convention!The 2008 "Water is Life"

We would also like to thank Erin Hayden for chairing the 2008 State Poster Contest. Erin, we truly appreciate your efforts to keep the LACD Auxiliary Poster Contest going. We are all extremely busy, yet feel this is worth our every effort. The poster contest is just one tool to educate future conservationist.
